As the sun rises over the Texas desert just north of the Rio Grande River, your eyes are in for a panoramic view of the desert and mountains cut by the Rio Grande River. The light suddenly appears over the desert and mountains, turning them a variety of rich red tones; the air is still and quiet and the mountain forms stand silhouetted against the bright red sky. As the Rio Grande winds south along the Texas-Mexico border, it suddenly veers thus forming Big Bend National Park.
