One of the largest and best exposed monoclines located in south central Utah, Capital Reef National Park, a reef like uplift of colorful stone, is a wonder. At one time it presented quite an obstacle to early settlers traveling by wagon. A land of cliffs, spires, snaking canyons, towering monoliths, and massive white rock domes lie along the Fremont River.

Visit the Captial Reef National Park Forum to ask questions about the park.
