From the protection of the 1912 eruption site of Novarupta Volcano to the study and protection of the Alaskan brown bear, Katmai National Park has served as steward of its resources. This large and diverse land is home to the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes and Brooks Falls, the feeding place of the huge brown bears of Brooks Camp.

Visit the Katmai National Park Forum to ask questions about the park.
