The
dense forests of Kentucky hide a cave system of more than 330 miles
of known passages on five levels. It is called the most extensive
cave system in the world and the main attraction of one of the
greatest cave regions with its giant vertical shafts, underground
rivers and rare animals, including white spiders, blind beetles,
and eyeless fish. A rare treat both above and below the ground
are found at this World Heritage Site and International Biosphere
Reserve.
