Mesa Verde National Park inhabits part of a large plateau rising high above the Montezuma and Mancos Valleys of southern Colorado. The park preserves the spectacular remains of the thousand-year-old Anasazi Indian culture, including the ruins of their elaborate stone communities built in the sheltered alcoves of the park's canyon walls.

Visit the Mesa Verde National Park Forum to ask questions about the park.
