Olympic
National Park is a mountain wilderness containing the remnants
of lush rain forest and active glaciers located on Washington Olympic
Peninsula. Teeming with wildlife, such as the rare Roosevelt elk
and Olympic marmot, the park has high mountains, deep valleys,
and lush meadows all covered with outstanding wild flowers during
spring and summer. Along the park's western boundary are nearly
60 miles of scenic shoreline where the mountains meet the Pacific
Ocean.

National Park Forum to ask questions about the park. |
