Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are similar, share a common border, and are located among the peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. These parks hold giant sequoia trees in groves , dry foothills blanketed with chaparral, mountain meadows adorned with green grass and wild flowers, deep river canyons, and six mountain peaks above 14,000 feet.

We will consider these two great parks as one because they are so closely related in nature and location. We are in no way intending to slight either park, for they are each worthy of your attention.

Visit the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park Forum to ask  questions about the park.
